The Old Corner Bookstore Building: Built in 1712 as a residence and apothecary shop, the Old Corner Bookstore is one of the oldest and most historically significant buildings in Boston. In the 19th century, the building housed Ticknor and Fields, then one of the most important publishing companies in the US, and become a meeting place for prominent authors including Emerson, Longfellow, and Dickens.
