Private Sector Case Studies

Building a Specialty Pharma Business

The Ripples Group worked with a Pharmaceutical CEO determined to achieve what may seem totally out of bounds: growing the business tenfold in a few years, building a global supply chain, diversifying the portfolio to serve clients with specialty pharma solutions while building a cult-like culture deeply founded in craftsmanship...

Becoming a Market Leader

When we first met the North American team, they had a small beachhead in the US market which was quickly fading. Working closely with the management team and the Board, we developed a strategy that within 2 years (ahead of our 3-year plan) profitably grew them to be the #3 player in the market.

Identifying Value in the Pharmaceutical Pipeline

The Ripples Group re-prioritized the drug pipeline for an up and coming Life Sciences Company. Soon afterwards and based upon the drug that Ripples had prioritized as #1, the Company won its first big pharma deal worth $1B.

Strategic Shifts in the High Tech Industry

Ripples has supported a global telecommunications IT leader on a number of initiatives since 2011 (new leadership took over then). In particular, we have led the strategic thinking at the high-tech company, which led to significant strategic shifts and large investments in acquisitions.

A Business Turnaround During the Recession

When the housing crisis hit the US in 2008, the world's largest paint company's US operations suffered a big setback along with the rest of the industry. As the company was relatively sub-scale in the US, losses mounted faster than the competition. The firm engaged Ripples to work on a turnaround strategy and support its execution towards astounding outcomes.

Complete Turnaround of a Boutique Bank

Partnering with a newly appointed, young, energetic CEO, we facilitated a complete turnaround of a stagnant business into a growth engine. A sleepy, tired organization was transformed into a culture of high-performance and continuous improvement. Consistently growing year after year, the organization stays the course towards becoming the best boutique bank.

Bracing for Growth

As a pharmaceutical company vastly increased its hiring, The Ripples Group provided organizational design expertise to establish clear lines of authority and organizational structure.
